[the subject title sounds like a gintama episode title now that i think about it
But ANYWAYS it's a lovely day in Zaphias in a post-canon world where we haven't AU'd it for as much angst as possible. Estelle is waiting inside one of the numerous ballrooms the castle has since she invited Yuri to try formal dancing with her. It was her way of repaying him for showing her the kinds of dances they had in the Lower Quarter. Up here in fancy-ville they had waltzes... waltzes... idk slow dance names man shit where they spin around a lot while elegantly holding each other but also standing as chastely far away from each other as possible that kind of shit.
The imperial orchestra behind her looks less than impressed. As does the dancing instructor who had decided to observe out of morbid curiosity. Can Lower Quarter scum actually dance?? Stay tuned to find out.
Estelle is EXCITED though what could be more fun than showing a friend stuff she's somewhat decent at!! She just hopes that Yuri makes it here... without giving the guards a heart attack... They kind of yelled at her for jumping out the window last time, but given that she's the Imperial Princess™ they couldn't scold her for long without feeling bad. On the other hand, Yuri always did seem like he had a hard time making his way around the castle. She gave him clear directions this time, didn't she?
